Ars Technica has revealed an early 2005 iPhone prototype, which differs considerably from the final product, being nearly 2 inches thick and featuring a giant 5-by-7-inch screen. That actually makes the device look more like an iPad than a handset.
While the source described the unit as an iPhone prototype, Steve Jobs said back in 2010 that Apple was working on a tablet before releasing the iPhone.
